About SFEVA

The San Francisco Electric Vehicle Association (SFEVA) is an educational, support and advocacy group for the promotion of electric vehicles(EVs). Electric cars, trucks, scooters, bikes, buses, and trains provide emission-free transportation using electricity, not fossil fuels.

Even accounting for the pollution associated with some electric power plants, electric vehicles are the least-polluting, most efficient means of land transportation other than walking or bicycles. And where the electricity is produced by solar panels or wind turbines, EVs basically run on sunshine and the wind.

The SFEVA, founded in 2004, is a chapter of the Electric Auto Association, founded in 1967. We are a non-profit 501(c)3 educational organization, and donations to the SFEVA are tax-deductible.

Chapter Officers:

  • President: Dale Miller
  • Vice President: Marc Geller
