Welcome and introduction by SFEVA President, Dale Miller, followed by group discussion on the following:

- We have an opportunity to advise on how the existing 1,500 EV chargers in California could be updated for the upcoming EV's while still providing charging to existing EV's such as the Toyota RAV4 EV's.

- Sonoma County is looking to us for advice on locations of EV chargers. Post ideas to the SFEVA discussion forum at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/sfeva/

- EVSE = Electric Vehicle Service Equipment

- CPUC = California Public Utility Commission is looking to standardize process of getting EVSE installed and inspected for residents in every county.

- Public charging infrastructure is important because not everyone has a garage.

- Nissan dealer in Petaluma, CA will get a fast-charger. See New Cars

- Thanks in part to a $100M U.S. Dept of Energy grant. Nissan, Think, and iMiev will be fast-chargeable EV's.

- Sherry Boschert is finalizing Plug In America's EV Resource Guide which will be available in digital and print formats. To be the first to get a copy, register to attend the January 28th Plug In America benefit party in San Francisco. Details and online registration visit http://www.pluginamerica.org/ Email Marc Geller at marc@pluginamerica.org if you have an EV that could shuttle guests from the Plug In America benefit party to the BART station.

- Concerns regarding the possibility that the cost of charging an EV with Coulomb or Better Place system would be the same as refueling a gasoline-powered car.

- January 26-28, 2010 is the Electric Drive Transportation Association's annual conference and expo in Washington D.C. More info at http://www.electricdrive.org/

- Saturday, February 20, 2010 from 10a.m.-12p.m. is the 43rd Annual Electric Auto Association National Meeting in Palo Alto. Location is an HP building at 3000 Hanover Street in Palo Alto. Look for more info at http://www.eaaev.org/
